Bio:

Adrien Lefieux is a postdoctoral fellow at the school of medicine and the department of Mathematics at Emory University, Atlanta, USA.

He obtained his PhD in Computational Mechanics and Advanced Materials at the University School for Advanced Studies IUSS Pavia in January 2015, and an MEng in mechanics and the University of Technology of Compiègne, France.

His researches have focused on apply mathematical models to solve efficiently and reliably problems in cardiology. It includes research in the finite element theory for fluid-structure interaction problems to in-silico clinical studies using computational fluid dynamics and high-performance computing.

His current research involves applying novel numerical methods to solve present healthcare challenges.
