Enrollment

Once an application has been assessed and approved for admission to the MSc programme or in case the applicant can access directly, it is possible to proceed with the enrolment.

Enrollment usually takes place from July to October and requires the payment of the first installment of the Master fees.

Classes will start on the third week of September 2024.

Specific enrollment instructions will be sent to candidates. It is very important to follow them in order to complete your enrollment. 

If you have obtained your Diploma outside of Italy, you should provide our offices with the following documents in paper or scanned version:

– Original diploma (or a certified copy or a replacement certificate) that allows enrolment in the Master’s Degree (at least a 3-year Bachelor degree), translated into Italian and legalized (by the competent Italian Authority in the country) or apostilled. In case the document is issued in English/French/Spanish by the home university, no translation is needed

AND

– Declaration of Value (DoV – dichiarazione di valore in loco), issued by the competent Italian Embassy/Consulate

OR

– Statement of comparability issued by “”CIMEA””: https://www.cimea.it/EN/pagina-attestati-di-comparabilita-e-verifica-dei-titoli

OR

– “Diploma Supplement”:http://www.cimea.it/en/servizi/il-sistema-italiano-di-istruzione-superiore/diploma-supplement.aspx issued by your University (if available)

Please remember that it is necessary to send the above mentioned documents (original diploma translated and legalized or apostilled, DoV (dichiarazione di valore in loco) or statement of comparability or diploma supplement) in order to confirm your enrollment at the University of Pavia.

Credit transfer/recognition from previous courses

In case the applicant wants to request the acknowledgment of past exams (towards a possible reduction of credits to be achieved for the attainment of the present Master Degree, based on credit transfer from other Master degrees, or credit transfer evaluation from a previously achieved Master Degree diploma, or re-evaluation and recognition of foreign degrees or qualifications beyond those necessary for admission), a request using this application form, with a revenue stamp (‘marca da bollo’) of €16, can be submitted. Foreign applicants are advised to submit such official request after admission and upon enrolment, following preliminary advice from the admission Committee.
